Club Night BBQ at Shed 3, Victoria Dock, Docklands
TOMORROW EVENING - Tues 16th February from 6.30pm
Our first Club Night for 2010 is almost upon us, being an outdoor BBQ at an exciting new nautical destination.
In addition to the usual opportunities for socialising over a meal, there is the chance to take a guided tour of the impressive Alma Doepel restoration at Victoria Dock. We will have exclusive use of the venue and there is ample car parking next to where we will be having dinner. Entry for members is complimentary with members' guests asked to contribute $10 on the night. No RSVPs required.

Further to the alert that was posted to members in October last year, limited stock of those rare, reasonably-priced 18x8 / 18x10 inch wheels, manufactured specifically to fit the above models, are still available from the Club's Social Competition Sponsor, Andrew McCathie of Traction Tyre and Suspension Centre. Andrew has also made the wheels available to Porsche spare parts supplier Stan Adler of Performance 9.
Club member Michael Dennis has now purchased and road-tested the wheels and is happy to report: "They fit the 930 perfectly, enhance the handling and look amazing. At this price, owners of the above cars facing diminishing tyre choices will kick themselves in the future if they don't have a set of these in the garage - especially if they have any thoughts about fitting R-tyres for Club competition!"
