PCV Display at the Melbourne Grand Prix
Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th March
It's back on again. The F1 GP at Melbourne is a major event on the calendar and this year the Porsche Club of Victoria and other car clubs have been asked to provide cars for a display.
Many of you participated last year. This year the numbers permitted are greater so I am looking for as many cars as I can get. Road and non road Porsches are welcome. If you have a Porsche tractor I will include that!
The cars are to be located on one of the fairways near the General Admission gate off Queen's Road. Security during the event is provided. This is a better location as last year’s was a dust bowl on the last day.
Will your car be covered by your own insurance? You will have to check that out yourself but as a rough guide last year Shannon's Insurance covered cars insured with them.
The GP Corporation will provide as a thank you two General Admission passes for the entire 4 days of the event. Your car will need to stay at the location after drop off the day before for the entire 4 days. Interested?
Send an email to Keith Ryding at vp@pcv.com.au listing your car registration, model and year and whether it's a road car or not. |
